I am assuming the answer for the question provided in the attachment is due to hydrogen bonding (1st option) but while I know this is true, I am not sure if the other options are more correct.
Carboxylic acids have -OH which can make H bonding like alcohols and C=O which is very polar like ketones.So Carboxylic acids have both H-bonding and strong dipole dipole attractions.
Ketones have only C=O polarity and alcohol has Hydrogen bonding.
