D) Reverse reaction is decomposition reaction which needs heat.hence in D it is exothermic process .If you increase temperature it will shift equilibrium to left .

uma

A and D are the one in which equilibrium does not shift. As volume reduces pressure increases and equilibrium shifts in the direction of low pressure.

29)
A and C are the answers
steam  is the part of equilibrium and hence increase of its pressure will shift the equilibrium on the product side  .
Reaction is endothermic so raising the temperature will shift to right.
however solids  in B) has no effect on K and D) increase in pressure will shift equilibrium in the direction of low pressure.

for Q27 A part why would equilibrium shift if number of moles on both sides are same.
And for B part why would it not shift(the number of moles are different on both sides)
And why would it not shift for C part.

uma

I said equilibrium will not shift  as both sides have same pressure.
I think there is error in teh question
in A and C there is no shifting this is what I have written.

rajive

C part I wanted to know why there would be no shift
And for B and D the equilibrium wont shift. Am i right?

uma

I am not sure which question are you talking about....

Check my first answer ...

Question asks in which equilibrium will not shift.
