Oxidation is loss of electrons means increase in oxidation number or oxidation number (O.N)becomes more positive.
Reduction is gain of electrons or decrease in O.N or O.N becomes less positive or more negative.
Oxidizing agent helps in oxidation of other species which means undergoing reduction by accepting electrons.
Reducing agent is the one which helps in reduction by undergoing oxidation and losing electrons.
Now you have to master how to calculate oxidation numbers to solve this question.
Al0 -----> Al3+ + 3e-
This is loss of electrons and hence oxidation .It means Al is oxidized and it is the reducing agent.
  Cu2+  + 2 e--------> Cu0
This gain of electrons so Cu2+ is reduced and oxidizing agent.
Al is losing 3 electrons per mole and Cu is gaining two electrons per mole.
However total moles of electrons transferred in balanced equation is 6 electrons.

This is just reversed of above reaction so you need to just write the half reaction written above answer in the reversed manner and answer the questions as explained above.

Hello Uma:
This is the actual qn: (2nd post)
2Al(NO3)3 + 3Cu→ 3Cu(NO3)2 + 2Al

a) what is oxidized?
b) what is reduced?
c) what is oxidizing agent?
d) what is reducing agent?
e)how many electrons are transferred per mole of reaction as written

So whatever you mentioned as answers as below are correct? please correct me if I am wrong

=========================================
Al0 -----> Al3+ + 3e-
This is loss of electrons and hence oxidation .It means Al is oxidized and it is the reducing agent.
  Cu2+  + 2 e--------> Cu0
This gain of electrons so Cu2+ is reduced and oxidizing agent.

This is the reversed  equation
Answer is revered as equations are reversed.
All 3+ is reduced and is oxidizing agent
Cu is oxidized  and reducing agent.
