With consumed permanganate solution and it's molarity you get the moles of it. The ratio permanganate /iron is 1:5 so the moles of iron are 5 times higher. Calculate the mass by using the molar mass of iron.
The devide through the mass of sample times 100 gives the percentage .

Molarity and volume of KMnO
4 is given and the balanced equation is also given.
Molarity = moles /volume in LUse this equation to know the moles of KMnO
4 Follow these steps
Mx V (L) moles KMnO4 ----> Moles of Fe 2+ ------ grams of Fe
% of Fe in 5.00 g sample Hb = grams of Fe/ 5 * 100%
