Molarity?

Calculate the moles of the nitric acid. According the equation the half will be destroyed to NOx. So the half amount gives then the silver. With molar mass you will get mass.

Molarity = moles /volume in L
Use this equation to know the moles of HNO3.
Now one mole of HNO3 gives one mole H+ .
Planning ---> Mx V (L) moles of HNO3    ---> Moles  H+ ------> moles of Ag+ ------> grams of Ag

One half of the acid is used by the reduction to NOx.

Ag  + 2 H+ + NO3-  => Ag+ + H2O  + NO2

That's the planning and in planning we don't use numbers.
When students are going to solve it ,then they take molar ratios and molar masses vaules .
Values are not taken in planning.
