Title: How to write lewis structure of N2O4
Post by: ann on October 06, 2022, 03:29:57 PM
I am very confused about how to write this structure. The question says that this exists as O2N-NO2, so does that mean that these two structures are separate and then connected through a bond?

NO2 has this structure

With lower temperature two of the molecules connect with the single electrons of each nitrogen.
