Title: Diluting a Standard Solution

I have a homework question I really don't understand, help would be great:

Calculate the volume of a 0.5000 mol/L standard solution of sugar (C6H12O6) required to prepare250mL of a 0.4000 mol/L solution.

wouldn't V2=0.250L???
