Title: Aqueous Reactions--dilution problem
Post by: prasamb@yahoo.com on December 11, 2022, 11:45:09 PM
what concentration of nitric acid is produced when 200 ml of Water is added to 50 ml of 6M HNO3 solution?

is this correct?
(.2+.05)(M1)=(0.05)(6M)
M1=0.3/.25=1.2M

Even if this is a acid+base reaction, the volumes needed to be added. Correct? (In above case 200 ml+50 ml=250ml is the new voulme)
