How It Works

The study sessions are conducted by me over the internet using Webex online meeting software.

The Webex meeting is State-of-Art online meeting software which conforms to the highest industry standards. During the session, the audio visual as well as chat senses are utilized to interact with the student, thus providing a wholesome learning experience.

The Whiteboard in the meeting is like a virtual blackboard. Both the student and myself can view it together and write on it using a array of colours. On the whiteboard I can share various applications such as Powerpoint or .pdf Presentations, Word documents or any other applications. Using the virtual whiteboard workspace both the student and myself can draw and write to share problems, solutions and explanations, and work with presentations, simulations and animations to optimize learning. In addition I can share my web browser or even my desktop with the student.

The Audio is communicated through the headset which is a full duplex communication. Both myself and the student can interact and share ideas with each other.

The One-on-One tutoring using these facilities provides a advanced learning experience by collaborative learning. Since there are no other disturbances, the attention of the student is maintained on the lesson at hand. Thus the lesson is much better comprehended and retained by the student.
